Your new role
As Housing Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of Housing Support Workers, ensuring the delivery of effective, person-centred support to residents. You'll manage day-to-day operations, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and housing regulations. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll also liaise with external agencies, manage caseloads, and contribute to service development.
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience in a housing, homelessness, or supported accommodation setting, including substance misuse
* Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role
* Strong understanding of housing legislation, safeguarding, and tenancy management
* Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
* Ability to work flexibly and respond to service needs
* IT literacy and experience using case management systems
* A relevant qualification in housing, social care, or support services (desirable)
