As an AWS Kubernetes Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Kubernetes Clusters, leading AWS migrations.
You will work closely with development teams to ensure the platform is reliable, scalable, and efficient. Your expertise will drive our AWS cloud migration and enhance our ability to deploy and manage containerized applications.
Work on cutting-edge technologies and projects that push the boundaries of what’s possible in the role of AWS Platform Engineer.
Your responsibilities:
1. Developing and migrating AWS-based applications
2. Developing and maintaining Terraform scripts to provision and manage AWS resources, including Kubernetes clusters and associated services
3. Performing SRE and application support roles for migrated applications
4. Incident management and response
Essential skills, knowledge, and experience:
* Experience with creating and setting up GitHub Actions
* Proficiency with Jenkins pipelines
* Over 3 years of experience working with Kubernetes-based container orchestration platforms, specifically AWS EKS
* Over 2 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform
* Proficiency with programming languages such as Python and Node.js
* Experience setting up or integrating observability tools like Datadog, CloudWatch, and X-Ray
* Experience troubleshooting and debugging on AWS cloud infrastructure
* Working knowledge of RDS databases and cache engines
* Over 3 years of experience with traffic management and routing, with proficiency in Akamai preferred
* Proficiency with Route 53 and AWS Elastic Load Balancing
* Experience with cloud security and compliance is a plus
* 3 to 5 years of experience with AWS cloud and hands-on experience in AWS application migration
* Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform
* At least 3 years of experience working with Kubernetes
