We are seeking passionate Human Factors Safety Assurance Consultants to join our collaborative and innovative team. This role offers the opportunity to work across high-impact sectors, delivering Human Factors Integration (HFI) expertise into complex, safety-critical systems—primarily in the Defence Nuclear sector, with expanding opportunities in other industries.

Your Role briefly:
As a Human Factors Safety Assurance Consultant, you will work as part of multidisciplinary teams and contribute individually to deliver high-quality project outcomes. Your responsibilities include:
* Contributing to Safety Cases through Human-Based Safety Claims
* Applying Human Reliability Assessment methods (e.g., THERP, HEART)
* Utilizing expertise in task and error analysis
* Supporting client relationships and business development
* Staying updated with Human Factors standards and guidance
What You Bring:
* Curiosity and motivation to deepen your understanding of Human Factors Safety Assurance
* Experience in high-hazard environments with familiarity in engineering terminology
* Knowledge of relevant Human Factors methodologies and UK/international guidance
* Strong interpersonal and client-facing communication skills
* A degree or postgraduate qualification in Human Factors, Psychology, Engineering, or Industrial Design
* CIEHF Registered Membership or working towards Chartership
