The Events & Programmes Coordinator will play an important role in designing, organising, and delivering a range of student-focused initiatives that connect emerging talent with employers across multiple industries.

This position is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of events, webinars, workshops, competitions, and development programmes. Working closely with employers, students, and internal teams, you will ensure every activity is professionally managed, highly engaging, and delivers measurable value to participants.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning and Delivery

* Develop comprehensive project plans covering preparation, execution, and post-event activities.
* Design event experiences that support career exploration, employability development, industry awareness, networking, and skills acquisition.
* Organise virtual and in-person events, including workshops, webinars, employer showcases, competitions, and experiential learning opportunities.
* Manage event logistics, timelines, platforms, venues, speakers, and supporting resources.
* Conduct technical rehearsals and platform testing to ensure smooth delivery.
* Facilitate events when required, providing operational support to attendees, speakers, and clients.
* Gather participant feedback and use insights to improve future programmes.

Student Engagement and Marketing

* Create and implement promotional campaigns to maximise registrations and attendance.
* Work with marketing teams to attract relevant student audiences for each initiative.
* Build awareness of events through targeted communications and outreach activities.
* Develop compelling event content and messaging that encourages participation.
* Monitor registration trends and engagement levels, adjusting activity where required to achieve targets.

Employer and Stakeholder Management

* Build strong working relationships with employer partners and event contributors.
* Provide guidance on how organisations can maximise visibility and engagement before, during, and after events.
* Ensure all stakeholders receive timely communications, event briefs, and supporting materials.
* Coordinate speaker engagement and support presenters throughout the event lifecycle.
* Prepare event reports highlighting attendance, engagement metrics, outcomes, and feedback.

Administration and Process Improvement

* Maintain accurate records within CRM and event management systems.
* Produce regular reports and administrative documentation relating to programme performance.
* Support the development and maintenance of operational procedures and best-practice guides.
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service quality, and participant experience.
* Become a subject matter expert on the digital platforms and systems used to manage events and participant journeys.

Cross-Functional Support

* Assist with broader student engagement initiatives and new programme launches.
* Contribute to the development of student communities, ambassador programmes, and advocacy activities.
* Support the delivery of employer, education-sector, and partner-focused events when required.
* Collaborate with colleagues across multiple teams to enhance the overall student experience.

Success Measures

Performance in the role will be assessed through a combination of participant satisfaction, employer feedback, attendance targets, programme delivery standards, and operational effectiveness. Key indicators may include:

* Strong satisfaction ratings from student attendees.
* Positive feedback and repeat engagement from employer partners.
* Achievement of registration and attendance objectives.
* Delivery of successful events within agreed timelines and quality standards.
* Continuous improvements to processes, systems, and participant experiences.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for an organised and proactive individual who enjoys managing multiple projects while building strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders.

You will be someone who:

* Communicates confidently and professionally with a wide range of audiences.
* Builds trust and credibility through a collaborative approach.
* Demonstrates excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
* Is comfortable managing numerous stakeholder relationships simultaneously.
* Uses data and feedback to inform decisions and recommendations.
* Enjoys identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
* Works effectively both independently and as part of a wider team.
* Adapts quickly to changing priorities and new challenges.

Experience and Skills

Essential:

* Experience supporting or delivering events, training programmes, webinars, or similar engagement activities.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent project coordination and time management abilities.
* Ability to analyse information and communicate insights clearly.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
* Proficiency in digital systems and online collaboration tools.

Desirable:

* Knowledge of graduate recruitment, higher education, employability, or early-career talent development.
* Experience working with event management platforms or CRM systems.
* Familiarity with student audiences and career-focused initiatives.

Additional Information

* Full-time permanent position.
* Standard office hours with flexibility required during peak event periods.
* Occasional travel may be necessary to support event delivery.
* Employment is subject to successful pre-employment checks in line with company policy.
