We are now seeking to recruit Technical Authors onto the exciting PPP project. You’ll be responsible for collating technical information from a variety of sources including manufacturers/suppliers, colleagues and consortium partners and from there producing technical specifications and manuals. You’ll also be an expert at interpreting technical detail/specifications and converting them into a variety of different formats, taking the end user into consideration.
You’ll be a great communicator with a sharp eye for detail and an enquiring mind, you’ll enjoy pulling information together, disseminating it and turning it into meaningful and "fit for" information for the end user. You will probably have experience gained in an engineering/technical/construction environment, and some formal technical qualifications (HND or similar in Engineering or a related subject), but more importantly you’ll be able to work in a team and possess a "can do" attitude and may be able to bring some new ideas.
We are also interested in speaking with trainers who have developed and delivered relevant training in technical subjects.
