What You’ll Be Doing As a Care Assistant, you’ll make a genuine impact in people’s lives by helping them stay safe, confident, and independent in the comfort of their own homes. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with washing, dressing, and personal care in a respectful, dignified way Supporting mobility and using equipment such as hoists or walking aids Preparing meals and snacks that meet dietary needs and preferences Helping with light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying Offering companionship, emotional reassurance, and friendly conversation Communicating with the office and care team to ensure excellent, consistent support Every day is different — but each visit gives you the chance to make a meaningful difference.
