Join to apply for the Retail Assistant Manager - Henley role at Thames Hospice. We are recruiting for a Retail Assistant Manager for our shop in Henley, Berkshire, a modern store full of pre-loved items. It’s charity retail, focused on fashion and home furnishings that are right on trend, with stores set up to compete on the high street.
Please note, as there are Duke of Edinburgh volunteers in this shop, this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check including child barred lists. This job advert will close as soon as sufficient applications have been received.
Responsibilities
* Support the Store Manager in running a high-street competitive charity retail shop selling fashion and home furnishings.
* Demonstrate visual merchandising and customer service excellence to maintain high standards.
* Lead the team to ensure the store is the best it can be and deliver an excellent shopper experience.
* Contribute to team motivation and a positive, collaborative retail environment.
* Engage with volunteers and store staff to support day-to-day operations and initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience in retail with a passion for customer service and presentation.
* Creative, visual minded, and dedicated to maintaining high standards.
* Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to store performance and values.
