Salary: £40,000 - 42,000 approx (depending on experience/qualifications)

Our client is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their team based in Inverness. The successful candidate will be responsible for production of Management Accounts in line with deadlines. Duties include
Duties include:
Production of Monthly Management Accounts and all related reports within agreed deadlines.
Balance sheet reconciliations.
Identifying and reporting/resolving variances.
Support the training of staff including review of work.
Maintain effective lines of communication are maintained.
Provide commentary regarding Management Accounting issues.
Maintain up to date knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
Work closely in support of the Financial Controller, carrying out additional project accounting and reporting tasks.
Person Specification:
Qualified or working towards a professional accounting qualification (qualified by experience also considered).
Experience of management accounts preparation and reporting.
Ability to identify and resolve variances and issues.
Well organised and able to manage a busy and varied workload, working to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent IT skills including financial software systems.
