Offer description

At Aquent, we are proud to partner with an innovative company developing next generation personal transportation technology. This organization is building an advanced vehicle platform designed to improve safety, efficiency, and rider experience, and they are looking for someone who can help support the tooling team as production continues to scale.

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Tooling Administrator to support a busy tooling and supplier network in a hybrid role based in Banbury. This person will work closely with tooling engineers and sourcing partners to manage supplier updates, maintain tooling trackers, support reporting, and improve the way tooling data is collected and shared across the team. This is a strong fit for someone with automotive or manufacturing experience who is comfortable handling data, dashboards, and supplier communication in a fast moving environment.

In this role, you will help the team stay on top of tooling timing plans, supplier readiness, asset tracking, and reporting needs. You will gather and organize information from suppliers, update internal trackers and dashboards, and help automate manual reporting processes. The team is looking for someone who can bring initiative, strong communication, and solid spreadsheet skills to a role that directly supports tooling operations and allows the engineers to stay focused on engineering work.

What You'll Do:

* Provide documentation and administrative support for the tooling department.
* Communicate with suppliers to collect timing updates, progress details, and tooling related information.
* Maintain tooling trackers and record updates across active tooling projects.
* Develop and improve dashboards and reports for the tooling team and departmental leadership.
* Support monthly reporting for senior leadership review.
* Help automate manual workflows across Google Sheets and Excel based reporting processes.
* Participate in internal and supplier meetings, capture key updates, and document next steps.
* Maintain the asset tagging system and tracking for tooling and related equipment at vendor locations.
* Collaborate with Supply Chain and Procurement Program Managers to support standardized tooling workflows.
* Update weekly dashboards tied to supplier health and readiness visibility.
* Extract data from supplier facing systems and compile it into internal tooling trackers.
* Ensure automated tooling sheets are completed for newly onboarded suppliers.

What You'll Bring

Must-Have Qualifications:

* Experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
* Strong communication skills and confidence working with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Excellent organization and attention to detail.
* Experience maintaining trackers, coordinating updates, and managing multiple workstreams at once.
* Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and other office tools for reporting and formula based analysis.
* Ability to interpret data and present updates clearly to both team members and leadership.
* Initiative, flexibility, and a self directed approach to work.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

* Exposure to tooling, production, supply chain, planning, or manufacturing operations.
* Experience building or improving dashboards.
* Experience with automation in spreadsheet based workflows, including formulas, pivot tables, or macros.
* Experience with supplier timing plans, asset tracking, or readiness reporting.
* Background in logistics, planning, or materials control within a manufacturing setting.
