We are recruiting on behalf of a high-profile luxury hotel and restaurant group in Central London for a talented Senior Sous Chef to join a Brand new opening.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant, creative, and award-winning hospitality brand, contributing to both the pastry-led kitchen and main kitchen operations, including banqueting, events, and afternoon teas.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and brigade management
Maintain exceptional culinary standards, presentation, and consistency
Contribute to menu development, seasonal dishes, and creative pastry concepts
Supervise, train, and mentor junior chefs in a supportive environment
Manage inventory, ordering, and costs while adhering to sustainability practices
Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards
Deliver excellence across banqueting, events, and afternoon tea services
Requirements:
Proven experience in high-quality kitchens
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Technical excellence in pastry and main kitchen, including classical techniques
Experience in banqueting, events, and afternoon tea service
Creative, passionate, and pride in flavour, presentation, and seasonal cooking
Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
