We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Lead to join our warm and friendly team at Whitgift House. The Clinical Lead is an integral role within the Home. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strong clinical leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care to residents. As clinical lead you will oversee clinical standards; guide, support and direct nursing and care teams; and ensure compliance with regulatory and professional requirements. This role bridges management and frontline care; promoting best practice, continuous improvement and a culture of dignity, compassion and respect. It is integral in maintaining high-quality clinical outcomes, safeguarding residents’ wellbeing, and supporting colleague development within a multidisciplinary care environment. Key Responsibilities Provide visible and effective clinical leadership. Promote evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement. Conduct regular audits, ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements and internal audit procedures. Mentor, guide, develop and supervise team members through supervision and training. Work collaboratively with senior management and external stakeholders Lead development initiatives in the clinical function and the wider home, to improve resident and colleague outcomes and experiences. Be integral in the creation and management of clinical budgets and resources Lead on safeguarding, risk management, and incident reporting and reviews. Please refer to the job description for more detailed information.About You Holds a Registered Nurse (NMC) qualification and has an active nursing licence Has significant experience (and clinical knowledge) in the care of older adults Has proven experience in a Senior Registered Nurse or Clinical lead role Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills Has a solid understanding of clinical governance and quality standards Is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care The closing date for applications is 8 April 2026.
