The Role
Manage a small finance team, report to the Headteacher, oversee financial operations, contribute to strategic planning, and ensure resource efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and reports.
2. Ensure effective financial controls.
3. Prepare monthly management accounts and re-forecasts.
4. Monitor cash flow.
5. Oversee payroll management.
Desirable Skills
* Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or equivalent.
* Advanced Excel skills and experience with Sage.
* Experience managing budgets and financial resources.
* Experience in educational financial management is a plus.
* Experience producing annual financial statements.
