As a Vessel Supervisor, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient movement of goods and cargo while managing a team of operatives. Key Responsibilities: Supervise day-to-day operations within the port, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of cargo. Manage a team of port operatives and ensure they follow all safety and operational guidelines. Monitor and coordinate the movement of ships, cargo, and equipment to ensure timely operations. Ensure that cargo is loaded, unloaded, and stored according to safety and quality standards Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Assist with scheduling and planning of shifts to ensure full coverage during busy periods. Provide leadership and training to the team to promote continuous improvement and skill development.
