Salary Range: £85 - £130 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: September 2025
Contract: Part-time

GSL Education are recruiting a caring Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a thriving, welcoming school in Chelmsford. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about education, eager to provide tailored support to students with diverse needs and help them thrive in a secondary classroom setting.
Position Responsibilities:
* Support students in a range of subjects in the secondary level.
* Assist pupils with special educational needs (SEN), including those with EHCPs.
* Work 1:1 or in small groups to deliver targeted interventions.
* Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Liaise with teaching staff, SENCO, and external professionals to ensure student progress.
* Contribute to the planning and evaluation of individual support programmes.
Candidate Expectations:
* Previous experience working with children (in school, youth work or support roles).
* A genuine interest in education and a desire to make a difference.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt to different learning needs and classroom environments.
* Have anupdated CV(covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and anenhanced DBS registered to the update service(or be willing to apply for one).
* Supportive school environments where your expertise will be valued and appreciated.
* Constant support from a dedicated consultant.
