For over 36 years, we have supported families facing homelessness, relationship breakdowns and other challenges, helping them build safe and stable futures. If you want to gain face painting experience at events while making a real impact, this is the role for you
Your Role & Responsibilities:
* Provide face painting services during events, offering a variety of designs suitable for children and/or adults.
* Ensure safe and hygienic use of all paints, brushes and materials, following health and safety guidelines.
* Engage positively with event attendees, creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience.
* Work with event staff and volunteers to manage queues and ensure children are supervised appropriately.
* Offer inclusive and adaptable designs to meet the needs of attendees, including those with sensory sensitivities or allergies.
* Assist with setting up and packing down the face painting area before and after events.
* Represent The Roberts Centre positively when interacting with the public.
* Participate in relevant training provided by The Roberts Centre, including safeguarding and health and safety.
Who We're Looking For:
* Interest in events, community engagement or fundraising.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Creativity and ability to produce a range of face painting designs.
* Understanding of hygiene and safety practices for face painting.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the event.
* Friendly, enthusiastic, personable and approachable.
* Committed to safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing.
* Respectful of confidential and sensitive information.
* Willingness to learn and attend training as needed.
