Type: Ongoing Monday-Friday 40-50 Hours with option for a permanent contract after 13 weeks
Driver Hire Bridgwater is looking for a physically fit, motivated Stock Loader & Delivery driver to join our client’s team on an ongoing basis. This role includes large elements of solo working with some time spent potentially waiting for new deliveries.
The Role
You will be:
1. Unloading containers of fresh produce — around 2 hours of heavier manual lifting when each new delivery arrives.
2. Loading goods into storage and organising stock.
3. Carrying out deliveries in a large van
4. Moving and replenishing stock within the warehouse.
5. Completing light duties between deliveries, including stock checks, tidying, and some yard work while waiting for the next load.
What We’re Looking For
6. Good physical fitness (the role involves regular manual handling and lifting).
7. Valid cat b driving licence- up to 3 points. (Must be over 25 due to insurance)
8. Comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
9. Happy to work alone.
