Pharmacy Dispenser - Park Rd Extra
Our Pharmacy Dispenser rate of pay starts from £12.87 an hour; this increases to £14.08 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. We offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with the option to work fewer (minimum 12).
Availability windows:
Mon 11:15 – 20:00
Tue 12:15 – 21:00
Fri 10:15 – 19:00
Sat 09:15 – 18:00
We will schedule your contracted hours within these times. You will receive three weeks’ notice of exact shift times.
Responsibilities
* Supporting the operation of one of our modern Pharmacies.
* Accurately dispensing medication for our customers using your technical skills.
* Dispensing prescription medicines with attention to detail.
* Talking to customers and offering information confidently, friendly and professionally.
* Providing appropriate information on common ailments, symptoms and products.
* Advising customers on the range of Pharmacy services available.
* Supporting dispensing process according to Standard Operating Procedures.
* Assessing the legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions.
* Dealing with clinical and legal queries from healthcare practitioners within our competence.
* Responding to customer queries about prescription medicines and informing the pharmacist of complaints.
* Ensuring all dispensary routines and SOPs are followed.
* Keeping dispensary and consulting rooms clean, tidy and free of clutter.
* Ensuring all prescription administration is accurate and completed on time.
* Bringing promotional activities and company initiatives to life.
* Carrying out all procedures accurately to protect profit and trade safely and legally.
* Completing corporate and departmental training.
* Keeping up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy.
Qualifications
* Qualifications gained from working in a Pharmacy environment.
* A desire to train and develop into the Pharmacy field.
