Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Carer to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents, including individuals with dementia and other health challenges. Providing personal care, and assistance with daily living activities
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
* Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
* Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
* Support individuals with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
* Monitor clients' health conditions and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
* Administer medication
* Provide dementia care by employing appropriate techniques to ensure safety and comfort.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients at all times.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in senior care, and hold NVQ 3 in health and social care
* Knowledge of dementia care practices is highly desirable.
* Ability to perform first aid and respond effectively in emergencies.
* Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules.
