Key Details
Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Contract: Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £29,641.01 to £34,946.27 depending on experience + call out + overtime

Your Responsibilities
As a Ganger, you will play a crucial role in our maintenance team. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
* Safeguarding and operating specialist equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and compliance with PUWER regulations.
* Carrying out a variety of repair works on highways assets, including carriageways, footways, kerbs, and more.
* Providing guidance and training to colleagues while adhering to Kier’s Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
* Managing daily operations to ensure a safe working environment for both operatives and the public.
* Conducting point-of-work risk assessments to maintain safety and proper protection of the work area.
* Planning work using technical documents and ensuring high-quality standards are met.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you can:
* Lead teams effectively and thrive under pressure in a demanding environment.
* Hold an SMSTS/SSSTS or similar qualification.
* Drive and possess a full driving licence.
