Owned by a former chef, this gastropub prides itself on a menu that evolves with the best ingredients available, working closely with trusted suppliers and embracing whole-animal butchery.

* £36,000 to £40,000 package

Responsibilities as the Sous Chef...
* Supporting the Head Chef in running all aspects of the kitchen, from service to supplier management
* Leading the brigade in the Head Chef's absence and ensuring smooth service
* Assisting with menu development, creating dishes that showcase the best local produce
* Maintaining high kitchen standards, ensuring consistency in food quality and presentation
* Helping manage stock levels, GP, and ordering to keep the kitchen running efficiently
* Training and mentoring junior chefs, fostering a positive and professional kitchen environment
