Help us make a difference in the community of Small Heath, Bordesley Green, and Heartlands wards! Our 247 Neighbourhood Mental Health Centre Pilot, commissioned by NHS England, offers innovative mental health services in these areas. We are committed to an open-door policy, supporting any adults in need with a compassionate, holistic approach that considers all aspects of their lives.
We seek enthusiastic, compassionate, and driven individuals who understand the needs of the local community and are eager to make a positive impact. The role is fully integrated within our multidisciplinary team, working alongside nurses, medical staff, psychologists, and other professionals.
Key responsibilities include:
Participating in all aspects of mental health care, including assessment, support, and treatment.
Supporting and engaging a caseload of individuals with mental health issues and their families or carers, in collaboration with Key Workers.
Partnering with other community agencies to provide comprehensive support.
Supporting individuals in building or rebuilding all aspects of their lives through targeted interventions.
Promoting social inclusion and active citizenship for people with Serious/Severe Mental Illness (SMI).
Identifying high-risk individuals, especially young people, and providing community-based support alongside the MDT.
Participating in community outreach and delivering activities both inside and outside the hub.
