Job Details Competence & Qualifications:
* A good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Aquarius and Hydrolog, Harvest and fieldwork techniques
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Self-motivated
* The ability to work well within own team
Skills & Attributes:
* Reliable, confident, friendly and approachable.
* Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work under pressure, manage time and prioritise effectively.
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to forward plan, use initiative, and work in a discrete and confidential manner.
* Flexible and adaptable to meet the varying demands of the role from time to time.
Key duties:
1. Logistics and scheduling of fieldwork and freelancers
2. Resource management (staff, equipment, vehicles)
3. Line Management for Field team
4. Recruitment of Field staff alongside the Regional Head, both permanent and contract staff (advert, recruitment channels, interviewing, selection etc)
5. Induction for new starters
6. Training for Field team
7. Technical Specialist/ Go to person for Field team, working with our National Technical Specialist.
8. Audits of Quality and H&S in the field
9. Project Management of jobs allocated to you by the Regional Head
10. Site reconnaissance visits and proposals
11. Quality Control and data checking assisting the Data Manager
12. To be responsible for the Health and safety and Environmental aspects affecting self, employees and projects in your control.
13. Other duties which the Company may reasonably require the individual to undertake.
