You'll need to have an 18th Edition electrical qualification, as well as a HVK license. Responsible for the efficient running of our Electrical Function within our Skegness resort, you’ll ensure that the highest standard of service is met consistently, ensuring that we delight our guests and receive positive feedback.
Leading a team to deliver excellent service, ensuring team engagement and best practices, you will support daily activities including routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs of domestic, commercial, and electrical equipment. You will manage project works with both team members and subcontractors, plan and operate the rota system including on-call systems, and be available for call-outs as required. A good knowledge of fault finding and installation works is essential.
This role covers a 5-day working week over 7 days, so flexibility is important. Occasional late work and at least 1 weekend day per week coverage are required.
As part of the Resorts Management team, you will manage internal teams and external service providers to ensure full compliance with H&S policies. You will oversee all team activities within the department, including recruitment, performance, and development, supporting team fulfillment and career growth at Butlin’s.

About You
We seek an experienced electrical leader capable of supporting the team to deliver excellent service, with experience in training and coaching in a fun-filled environment. You should have previous leadership experience, the ability to prioritize demanding workloads, work independently, and operate a PC/Microsoft suite confidently. Confidence in directing and responding to various situations while maintaining brand standards is important. Strong leadership skills to motivate and engage your team, even during high demand, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly are essential.
You should inspire your team to achieve excellent results daily.
General Duties & Key Responsibilities
* Managing team shifts on key tasks and objectives.
* Driving sales, promotions, and supporting team efforts.
* Ensuring stock and propositions are available for guests.
* Monitoring and maintaining quality guest experiences.
* Capturing guest feedback.
* Providing accurate rotas 3 weeks in advance via SAM and ensuring system accuracy.
* Monitoring NPS and acting on guest feedback.
* Coaching and developing the team to meet departmental goals.
* Championing Butlin’s Values and Leadership Behaviours.
* Focusing on RPRRT in team rotas.
* Building strong relationships across the resort and support teams.
* Supporting people tasks from onboarding to performance management and training.
