Field Service Engineer
£30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Covering: Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Hertfordshire
Full-time | Permanent | Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer with a passion for technology and improving healthcare environments? We're hiring a skilled engineer to install and maintain nurse call systems across hospitals and care homes in the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Hertfordshire areas.
The Role
You’ll play a vital role in ensuring essential nurse call systems are fully operational, supporting healthcare teams in delivering high-quality care. This is a field-based position that combines hands‑on work, technical problem‑solving, and excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
* Installation, maintenance, and servicing of nurse call systems at client sites
* Diagnosing and repairing faults quickly and effectively
* Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance
* Providing technical support and basic training to staff on‑site
* Keeping accurate records and reporting repeat issues
* Participating in an on‑call overnight support rota
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 3 years experience in a field-based engineering role
* Qualification in electronics, electrical engineering, or software-related discipline
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong troubleshooting and technical skills
* Good communication and customer service abilities
* Flexibility to travel across regions and stay overnight when required
