Are you looking for a rewarding school-based role in Caterham? We’re recruiting Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join local primary and secondary schools this September. As an LSA, you’ll play a vital role in helping children with additional learning needs to thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND or additional needs
2. Helping children engage with lessons, build confidence, and reach their potential
3. Supporting classroom routines, learning activities, and behaviour strategies
4. Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to provide tailored support
What we’re looking for:
5. Experience working with children or young people (school, childcare, tutoring, or youth work)
6. A patient, adaptable, and encouraging approach
7. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
8. A genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEND
