Administration Officer/Court Officer Permanent Grade 3 - £26,409 - £32,654 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5 hours per week The Role: This is a front facing role at the Coroner’s office and will involve dealing with the Public and undertaking general office, administration and reception duties. Must be able to deal with bereaved people, the successful applicant will be expected to deal with distressing situations, images and information in relation to death and bereavement. Must be able to act as Court Usher in relation to the Coroners Court. Key Skills & Experience: Applicant must be computer literate, have experience in dealing with the public Be able to be accurate when data inputting and undertaking administrative duties To be able to deal with enquiries from the public, bereaved families and professionals such as the Police, GP's, Hospitals and legal professionals whilst understanding the importance of confidentiality Excellent communication skills Ability to prioritise and manage workload Required to work flexibly across a variety of duties Please upload your up-to-date CV via the attachments part of your application, this is required for shortlisting.
