Role Description
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Deputy Manager to join our team in Deal. As the Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of our residential care homes, supporting the development and implementation of individual care plans, and ensuring that regulatory requirements are met. Your role will involve supervising staff, promoting a nurturing environment, and creating a positive, safe space for children and young people. Additionally, you will work closely with management to ensure high standards of care delivery and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Management skills with experience in staff supervision and team development.
Experience in creating and implementing individualised care plans and a thorough understanding of child care policies and regulations.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge and experience in safeguarding and child protection practices.
Ability to adapt to on-site work and work collaboratively within a team to meet the needs of children and young people.
A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification) is essential.
Previous experience in residential child care or a similar environment is essential. A senior residential support worker can apply.
