About Our Client
Specialist property law firm that was established in 2000. The firm focuses on property development matters and acts for a large number of developers and other property professionals. Experts in property law, particularly in development acquisition, commercial property, and residential property conveyancing. Handle matters related to planning law, environmental issues, and complex property deals.
Job Description
3. Implement and maintain the firm's accounts and invoicing procedures in line with Solicitors Accounts Rules.
4. Manage client, office, and other ledgers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
5. Conduct bank reconciliations and produce month-end and management accounts, including cash flow analysis.
6. Oversee credit control, VAT returns, and coordinate outsourced payroll.
7. Support the firm's auditors with annual accounts and reports.
8. Supervise Accounts Assistants and assist with office management tasks.
9. Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes and contribute to the firm's business planning and client care standards.
The Successful Applicant
10. Experience in a legal firm.
11. Strong knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules
12. VAT
13. Money Laundering Regulations
14. Confident working independently
15. Experience in a Lexcel-accredited firm is also required
