Position Details
Applications are invited for a full-time Research Assistant position in the Department of Health Studies, based in Egham, Surrey. The appointment is initially for one year with a potential extension until November 2026, funded by the BAC4RumA project, which explores alternatives to antibiotics for cattle and farmed tilapia in Nigeria.
The post holder will be responsible for field data collection in Nigeria, data analysis, and academic report writing. The focus will primarily be on work related to ruminants. The role involves working directly with Dr Mahmoud Eltholth and international collaborators in the UK, Spain, and Nigeria.
