C.Neo Ltd are working with a national Construction Tier 1 Main Contractor to recruit and experienced Quantity Surveyor with the experience of Multi faceted construction new builds and refurbishments including fit outs and M&E packages within the commercial & industrial sector in Portsmouth, Hampshire. Duties of the Quantity Surveyor are as follws: * Manage the daily commercial operations of the relevant contracts * Support the Commercial Directors in negotiating future contracts * Draft complex subcontract arrangements, including professional services agreements and appropriate terms of engagement * Liaise with all parties to ensure a clear understanding of contract terms, particularly financial aspects * Lead weekly commercial team meetings, oversee contract administration, and assign tasks to commercial staff * Coach and mentor commercial staff on best practices in contract management and day-to-day commercial activities * Promote and develop commercial awareness within the team * Ensure effective client relationship management is established and maintained * Resolve issues related to contracts, subcontracts, and commercial operations * Review, collate, and report on cost/value data provided by the QS team, and present findings to the Commercial Director * Collaborate with all directors and operate as a key member of the wider team * Contribute to the review and improvement of company ...
