Job Description:
Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
What you’ll be doing:
* Identifying and conducting verification and compliance activities on behalf of the Owner of Authorization Conditions 20 and 27, ensuring adherence to extant compliance arrangements is sufficiently monitored.
* Authorship and upkeep of the Compliance Matrix Workbooks and Compliance Verification Plan, and reporting to the Compliance Dashboard.
* Supporting the regulatory interface in the facilitation of planned internal and external inspection plans, including working closely with NSR&I Advisors.
* Working closely with Quality Assurance, the Engineering Function, Test and Commissioning, and other appropriate business areas in delivering compliance verification activities as required.
Your skills and experiences:
* Experience in Nuclear Regulation or Nuclear Compliance.
* Previous experience working in heavily regulated industries, e.g., Oil/Gas.
* Experience within Quality Assurance, Engineering & Manufacturing Engineering or Product Assurance.

The PNED team:
The PNED Department delivers nuclear engineering capability across reactor plant programmes. This role focuses on Authorization Condition compliance activities, with opportunities to develop knowledge in nuclear engineering and project activities, including design reviews, build, test, and commissioning. Relocation support packages are available across all Submarines roles, subject to eligibility.
