Role: Recycling Facilities Supervisor (Technical Services)
Location: GCHSCP Community Equipment Service (Equipu), Units 17-22 Nurseries Road, Glasgow G69 6UL
Contract Status: Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recycling Supervisor to join the Community Equipment Service within Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP). This vital service operates on behalf of multiple local authorities across Scotland and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, supporting individuals by supplying, delivering, installing, maintaining, and recycling community equipment. With an annual equipment recycling value of approximately £4 million, the service plays a key role in sustainability and resource efficiency.
Reporting directly to the Technical Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Community Equipment Service's recycling facility through the supervision and allocation of work to a small team of Cleaner Quality Controllers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the recycling facility's daily operations.
2. Supervise and support a team of Cleaner Quality Controllers.
3. Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality control.
4. Contribute to the continuous improvement of recycling processes and service delivery.
These roles are excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).
