Working in the Water Supply (Drinking Water) teams, this is the chance to restartyourcareer with Anglian Water as an Asset Technician Apprentice! Join our Water Services team and train to become a multi-skilled technician inmechanical and electrical engineering.You’llsplit your time between college and hands-on learning at our sites, helping to keep cleandrinking water flowing to homes and businessesin your local community.
This is a hands-on practical role working outside in avarietyofweather; the work is varied, rewarding and at times challenging, but no two days are the same! Once qualified, you’ll join a 24/7 standby rota because your role is vital.

Whatyou’lldo:
1. Inspect,maintainand care for essential assets and equipment
2. Support fault diagnosis and keep equipment running efficiently
3. Work and learn alongside experienced mechanical and electrical technicians and follow health & safety rules
4. Take ownership of your development and contribute to team success
What we’re looking for:
5. English, Maths and Science GCSE’s (grades 9–4/A*–C), we can also accept Level 2 Functional Skills - predicted grades will be accepted if you have not yet completed your exams
6. Genuine interest in the water industry and protecting the environment
7. Good communication skills and a team mindset
8. Willingness to work outdoors and learn new things
If you do not currently hold a full UK driving licence, you’ll need to obtain one by the end of year two of the programme, or if this isn’t possible due to your age, within one year of your 17th birthday.
