Skills and Responsibilities:
* Strong experience in quality assurance for data pipelines, APIs, and ETL workflows, preferably in financial services.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
* Proven ability to design and execute test plans for complex data workflows, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
* Good understanding of modern testing methodologies such as TDD and BDD.
* Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Behave, unittest) and scripting languages such as Python or Java.
* Knowledge of data validation techniques, schema checks, and data integrity testing for structured and semi-structured data.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and services like S3, Glue, Lambda, EventBridge and Step Functions.
* Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into DevOps workflows.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with developers, data engineers, and business analysts.
* Experience with Agile software delivery and QA best practices.
