We are recruiting for a Post Room Assistant to join our Services team in Woking. As the Post Room Assistant you will provide a high level of service to each of the companies within the McLaren campus, carrying out daily postal duties and sending items worldwide using DHL.
What You’ll Do
* Receive and sign for all incoming mail.
* Book tracked mail onto the system and sort it by company into the appropriate pigeonholes.
* Receive couriered items from local companies, redirect deliveries where necessary.
* Book all parcels received onto the tracking system and sorted into relevant delivery piles.
* Deliver post and couriered items to the relevant drop‑off points around the building.
* Collect, sort and deliver all internal post.
* Assist in franking all mail and sort it into the relevant areas ready for Royal Mail collection.
* Process all outgoing couriered items using DHL and DMD for automotive and group requirements.
* Use the Post Room van to collect and deliver post from other McLaren satellite units around Woking.
* Help keep the staff list up to date.
* Collect monies from employees for their personal post and record the information on the accounts list.
* Work based at the McLaren Technology Centre.
What You’ll Bring
* Good time‑keeping skills.
* Forklift training is an advantage.
* Knowledge of Excel.
