Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is excited to invite applications for the Foundation Degree Nursing Associate Apprenticeship (FDNA). This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about delivering high‑quality patient care and looking to progress toward becoming a Registered Nursing Associate.
Whether you are already working as a Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) or currently in a non‑clinical role and eager to move into nursing, this programme offers a supported pathway into a rewarding clinical career.
To apply, you must:
1. Have Literacy & Numeracy Functional Skills level 2 or equivalent
·Have completed a level 3 qualification, T Level, Apprenticeship level 3 or equivalent. 2 ‘A’ levels (grade C or above) is equivalent to a level 3 qualification.
2. Hold a substantive contract within the Trust for a minimum of 30 hours per week
3. Be able to commit to the full shift pattern, including long days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays
4. If currently a bank HCSW, be willing to secure a substantive HCSW contract of at least 30 hours before starting the programme
This apprenticeship allows you to earn while you learn, gaining the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to qualify as a Nursing Associate and progress your career within Hampshire Hospitals.
