What you'll do
Strategic IT Management:
* Support the Systems and IT Director with strategic IT planning and implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Operational Excellence:
* Work in conjunction with our managed service provider and manage our managed print service, ensuring seamless business operations.
IT Support and Maintenance:
* Provide comprehensive IT support, manage office networks and WiFi, and ensure all systems are utilised to their full potential.
Compliance Management:
* Lead efforts to achieve and maintain compliance with PCI DSS standards, ensuring secure handling of payment data.
* Oversee the implementation and maintenance of ISO certifications, ensuring adherence to relevant standards and successful audits.
* Ensure compliance with SOC 2 requirements by managing internal controls, risk assessments, and reporting processes.
* Manage GDPR compliance efforts, mitigate risks, and maintain robust security practices across the IT environment.
Project Leadership:
* Lead and contribute to IT projects, including new system implementations and migrations, to enhance organisational efficiency.
Documentation and Training:
* Develop and maintain essential documentation, SOPs, and compliance-related policies.
* Conduct user training to optimise software and hardware utilisation and ensure adherence to compliance protocols.
Vendor and Asset Management:
* Liaise with third-party IT providers, manage Google Workspace, and oversee asset and password management.
What This Looks Like Day to Day:
* Collaborating with team members and external providers to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
* Regularly reviewing IT systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
* Planning and executing IT projects, from initial concept through to completion, ensuring they deliver value and efficiency to the business.
* Conducting regular compliance audits and coordinating with external auditors to meet PCI DSS, ISO, and SOC 2 requirements.
* Providing hands-on support for IT issues, setting up new user accounts, and managing equipment.
* Conducting regular IT training sessions for staff to ensure they are competent and confident in using IT resources while maintaining compliance.
* Analysing reports to understand common complaints and problems, aiming to reduce recurring issues.

What You’ll Have
* A solid knowledge in both Windows and Mac operating systems.
* Experience with cloud services, particularly Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and Jamf MDM.
* Proven ability to manage office networks, WiFi, and IT security measures.
* Strong knowledge of PCI DSS, ISO certification requirements, and SOC 2 compliance frameworks.
* Familiarity with conducting risk assessments and implementing controls to meet compliance standards.
* Strong project management skills with a track record of leading IT projects to successful completion.
* A keen understanding of GDPR and other compliance requirements relevant to IT management.
