As an IT Support Agent, you will provide support to IT Services delivering planned or requested activities in order to effectively deliver a high quality service to our customers.
Day-to-day you will:
* Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support, via phone, the IT self-service portal and in person requests
* Log, update and manage all calls via the IT call logging system relating to the QinetiQ support of all software and hardware in the operational environment
* Manage Software Licenses including, the ordering and distribution of software
* Manage and safeguard the confidentiality, integrity and availability of company and customer information
* Allocate technical calls to the relevant resolver group, initiate escalation procedures and manage incidents
This role is based full time on-site at our Farnborough office with staggered shift patterns.
Essential experience of the IT Support Agent:
* Previous experience of working in an IT Service Desk environment
* Experience with Office 365 and Microsoft Azure
* Understanding of mobile telephony and smart devices
