This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking innovative team. The cohort of patients the CNS Team manage are those with chronic stable malignant or pre-malignant conditions and non-malignant haematology conditions all of whom need monitoring via blood tests over their lifetime.
The successful candidate will lead their own telephone clinics as well as working alongside the consultant team. Support and in house training will be offered for the successful candidate.
Main duties of the job
Practice autonomously demonstrating expert problem solving and clinical decision making skills while demonstrating accountability and responsibility (NES)
Assess, manage, deliver and co-ordinate the plan of care for patients utilising the effective and efficient use of resources
Undertake investigations driven by protocol and within your competence.

Essential criteria
1. Registered Nurse and current NMC Registration
2. Master’s Degree or equivalent experience Specialist qualifications Expert level of knowledge in clinical speciality
3. Knowledge of service improvement
4. Able to undertake a literature search and critically appraise research papers
5. Awareness of current developments within the NHS
Essential Aptitude and abilities

6. Able to demonstrate effective leadership and management skills
7. Awareness of professional issues and developments
Desirable criteria
8. Welsh Language Skills are desirable levels 1 to 5 in understanding, speaking, reading, and writing in Welsh
