VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a major FMCG Client with the Recruitment of a Production Planner to join a dynamic and growing team based in their Armagh Site.
Salary / £43,000 + Benefits Package
Hours / Day Shift
Key Responsibilities:
* Interpretation of sales forecast and monitoring of stock movements;
* Develop and implement efficient production schedules to meet customer demand and optimise resource utilisation;
* Monitor and analyse production performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions;
* Collaborate closely with the commercial and operations teams to ensure smooth production flow and timely delivery of products;
* Manage stock levels to balance supply and demand;
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
* Purchasing materials to meet forecasted demand;
* Management of supplier's performance.
The Person:
* Experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team and to be flexible to accommodate the demands of a growing business and a small management team;
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operations;
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
Preference will be given to candidates with:
* Experience of using an ERP system, would be ideal, but not essential.
