Holiday Inn Express Belfast – Guest Service Agent (Andras Hotels)

What is the job?
In this customer-facing role you will enhance the guest experience and drive brand loyalty. You will manage guest expectations from check-in to check-out and support day-to-day food operations. You may assist other departments to ensure excellent service for our guests.
Hours
40 hours per week; hours vary.
Rate of pay
Up to £12.70 hourly, based on age.

Responsibilities
* Register guest reservations via email, phone and in person; welcome guests warmly from arrival to departure
* Recognise Loyalty Club Members and returning guests
* Check in/check out guests; issue keys; inform guests about hotel services and room locations
* Answer phone promptly and courteously
* Upsell rooms and additional services to maximise hotel revenue
* Resolve guest issues, requests and inquiries promptly
* Communicate outstanding guest requests to management as needed
* Process cash and credit card transactions per procedures
* Comply with Health and Safety procedures and report incidents or concerns
* Work as part of a team and liaise with other departments to ensure quality service
* Implement brand projects and promote the hotel loyalty scheme
* Provide local information about tours and attractions
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and service in Food & Beverage as required
* Adhere to training, briefs and brand behaviours
What you will need
Required criteria
* Experience within a customer service role
* Basic level of IT proficiency
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours and a willingness to help guests and colleagues
* Good level of English
Desirable criteria
* Experience within the Hospitality Industry
