Kitchen Assistant: Burford School Boarding Department
Salary Grade: Grade 3, Point 2, £24,413 full-time equivalent
Weekdays: £10,140 per annum (pro-rata)
Weekends: £ 6,661 per annum (pro-rata)
Hours: Weekdays: Monday – Friday, 3.30pm -7.00pm
Weekends: Saturday & Sunday, 9.00am – 1.00pm & 4.30pm – 7.30pm
Contract: Permanent
Weekdays: 40 weeks per year (Term time plus two weeks)
Weekends: 32 weeks per year
Responsible to: Catering Manager
Start Date: 5th January 2026, or by negotiation
Required from January 2026, part time Kitchen Assistants to work weekday evenings, weekends or a combination. The post involves assisting in the delivery of all Catering Services to students, staff and visitors within the school, and we are happy to consider requests for different work patterns to the above.
Experience is not essential as full training will be given. All successful applicants will require an enhanced DBS Certificate which the school will arrange on appointment
