Job Purpose:
To support Bernard Matthews foods limited; and to uphold Food safety standards inline with the latest food safety legislation and guidance. To record all actions on a daily basis in real time and to assist in the company's legal obligation to ensure that the food we produce is safe for the consumer to eat. This job description aims to give a broad outline as to the requirements of the role. Where jobs have more than one post holder, there may be variations in accountabilities. The Role and Responsibilities:
· Ensure Strict Conformance to all H&S Procedures
· Working the Production line as instructed
· Ensure all product produced is aligned with our food safety standards, delivered on time and without damage to our customer.
· Participate as a member of the production team providing input to continuous improvement.
· Follow the strict Hygiene procedures and regulations.
· Act in line with the business values and expected behaviours within this role.
· Understanding of production environments in a medium to large manufacturing organisation.
· To cope with the demands of high levels of flexibility and short lead times whilst maintaining conformance to specifications.
· Ability to read and follow instructions.
Person Criteria - Key Skills, Experience and Knowledge:
· A calm person with attention to detail.
· A good eye for detail is very important.
· Good personal hygiene must be of a high standard.
· Excellent time keeping will be expected.
· Very good attendance
