JOB DESCRIPTION
At The Guinness Partnership, the Rent, Service Charge, and Customer Accounts Team plays a vital role in protecting our income, enabling us to fulfil our social purpose: delivering high-quality homes and essential housing services to the residents who need them most.
About the Role
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Rent & Service Charge Officer to join our team on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex caseloads and working closely with key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of timely and effective services. You will collaborate with colleagues to prevent and reduce debt, promote value for money, and act as a subject matter expert to provide guidance, support, and training across the team.
What we are looking for

We are seeking candidates who have experience in providing high-quality services within a customer-focused environment, together with strong knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice in social housing rent.
You will also be able to demonstrate:
Proven experience in delivering high-quality services in a customer-focused environment.
Proven experience in investigating and resolving complex billing and collection enquiries.
Experience in building relationships and managing stakeholders effectively.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice in social housing rent.
Excellent attention to detail.
Proven influencing and negotiating skills.
