Blue Legal are partnering with a leading law firm who are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join their London office. This is a new role created to support the continuous growth in BD activity across the firm. The role will work alongside the Head of BD & Marketing, Senior BD Manager and team in the delivery of the firm’s Business Development initiatives.
Assist with creating and tracking BD plans for practice areas and sector groups, including campaign identification, execution, and evaluation.
Monitor firm-wide relationships and support the development of key contacts; manage key account tracking through the CRM system.
Maintain BD leads and opportunities via the CRM system; Manage and coordinate submissions for Chambers & Partners and Legal 500, ensuring timely, high-quality input and follow-up for interviews.
Prepare regular internal reports on BD activity, new clients, deals, and KPIs, including monthly, fortnightly, quarterly, and annual summaries.
At least 5 years of BD experience within a legal environment; Strong writing skills for pitches and award submissions; proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM systems.
A strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced BD&M environment.
Due to the specific sectors we work in, only candidates with valid work experience in a Law Firm, Accountancy Firm, Management Consultancy, Property/Construction Firm, Financial Services Firm or a high profile relevant Association or Agency will be considered.
