We are currently seeking an Electronics Repair Engineer to join our ITS Manchester team, with experience in repairing and refurbishing a diverse range of Inverter Drives and Printed Circuits Boards (PCBs) from various manufacturers.
As part of our team, you will work alongside industry experts from diverse backgrounds, contributing to research and development efforts to repair complex electronic failures. Your role involves collaborating with colleagues worldwide and providing top-tier service to our customers.
Responsibilities include:
1. Implementing company procedures and safety guidelines.
2. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
3. Diagnosing and repairing Inverter drives and PCBs to component level.
4. Performing comprehensive testing of electronic equipment to meet quality standards.
5. Generating detailed fault reports and updating internal databases.
6. Providing updates on job progress to management and stakeholders.
7. Researching and procuring electronic components.
8. Operating 3-phase equipment.
Candidate requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in electronic repair or diagnostics.
* Proficiency in SMT and through-hole component repair.
* Strong soldering and de-soldering skills.
* Ability to troubleshoot and fault-find at the component level.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Positive attitude and ability to meet deadlines.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Investigative mindset and industry best practices knowledge.
* Customer service and problem-solving skills.
* NVQ4/HND or equivalent qualification is advantageous.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
