As part of our friendly and welcoming team, you will be working with experienced colleagues who are committed to delivering excellent service. You will primarily cover a 100-mile radius, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of plant machinery to and from customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Safe and efficient delivery and collection of construction plant equipment.
Loading and unloading plant machinery, ensuring correct procedures are followed.
Securing loads using chains and straps for safe transportation.
Conducting vehicle and equipment checks to maintain safety and compliance.
Completing all delivery and collection paperwork accurately and efficiently .
Requirements:
HGV Class 2 licence (essential).
Experience in transporting plant machinery (preferred).
Knowledge of correct loading, unloading, chaining, and strapping techniques (preferred).
Strong awareness of health & safety regulations.
Good communication skills - face-to-face, verbal, and written.
Excellent attention to detail, particularly with delivery and collection paperwork and processes.
