Pay rate: £100 - £130 Per Day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are hiring reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to work in schools across Northumberland, maintaining a positive and structured classroom environment.
In this role, you will supervise pre-set lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure pupils remain focused and on task throughout the school day.
About the role:
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will play a key role in supporting schools by delivering pre-prepared work and ensuring that learning continues smoothly during teacher absences. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain classroom experience.
Prime responsibilities of Cover Supervisor:
* Supervise lessons using work provided by teaching staff
* Maintain strong classroom behaviour and a calm learning environment
* Ensure pupils remain engaged and complete assigned tasks
* Report back to staff on lesson progress and any concerns
* Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times
What we are looking for:
* Experience working with children or young people in a school setting is desirable
* Strong communication and classroom management skills
* Confidence leading a classroom independently
* A flexible, organised, and professional approach
* Interest in working within education

* Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
