Role Information The Pastoral Support Officer will work daily with students who require behavioural, emotional, or social support. Duties include: • Conducting 1:1 pastoral check-ins • Supporting behaviour interventions and restorative conversations • Liaising with parents, carers, and external services • Monitoring attendance and punctuality concerns • Keeping detailed records on safeguarding systems • Providing crisis support when needed • Delivering small-group wellbeing sessions • Supporting reintegration plans and pastoral behaviour programmes This role requires calmness, excellent communication skills, emotional resilience, and the ability to build trust with young people while maintaining professional boundaries.
