Overview
We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with experience in various construction tasks. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The Joiner will be responsible for fabricating and assembling wooden structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship throughout all projects.
Responsibilities
* Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including doors, windows, and furniture.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
* Perform roofing tasks as required, ensuring structural integrity and safety.
* Carry out heavy lifting as necessary during the construction process.
* Engage in construction painting to enhance the finish of completed projects.
* Assist with plumbing and masonry work when needed.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project completion.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in joinery, carpentry, or related fields.
* Strong skills in fabrication and assembly techniques.
* Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to joinery work.
* Knowledge of roofing practices is advantageous.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
* Familiarity with construction painting techniques is preferred.
* Basic plumbing knowledge is a plus.
* Experience in masonry or electrical work would be beneficial but not essential.

Pay: £15.00-£35.00 per hour
